Week One (36/180)

My first week was filled with recording and editing. On the first day, I learned how to use Final Cut Pro and operate the cameras. I was then assigned two station IDs to produce. The first was a nature-based video designed to help me become familiar with the camera, and the second was a short PAC 14 promotional ID.

On Tuesday, I continued developing my editing skills in Final Cut Pro, and my first ID went on air. Later on that day, I created a video called “Where Are We?” a project in which a local location is gradually revealed through creative editing techniques. On Wednesday and Thursday, I worked on producing a short bike safety PSA.
